We started with various activities, such as movie nights, tutoring and assistance in learning Korean for students, as well as Korean language lessons for all those who could not choose it as an elective subject. Due to the great interest in study exchanges in Korea, we also published a handbook for students who are going there and need various information that would make their stay and studies easier.

Every year we participated in the Škis Market and there, on the international island, introduced South Korea to Slovenian students through various dishes and entertainment activities.

A big reason for the increasing interest in Korea is K-pop, so in the second half of 2016 we already started expanding our activities outside the walls of the Faculty of Philosophy through dance workshops, which we still conduct. Since most of us did not have many friends with whom we would share the joy of Korean music before enrolling at university, the desire for a connected community where everyone can find friends and have fun was even greater. So in 2018 we started organizing Kpop parties under the name BOOM Shakalaka. Each party has its own theme and is unique - everything from neon colors, flowers, Halloween to Christmas.
